On 4th of July morning, we all headed out to watch the 4th of July parade.  Taylor was dressed in her patriotic outfit for her first 4th of July.  Brayden was very excited for the parade.  He remembered from from the last time we went to the parade that candy was tossed out to the kids.  Brayden was also excited because he calls 4th of July his fake birthday.  We always tell Brayden that he was almost born on 4th of July.  If the doctors hadn't been able to stop my contractions, Brayden would have been born on 4th of July.  He has always loved holidays, so much so that he tried to be born on one!

The parade was fun for both kids.  Taylor loved watching all the people and Brayden got a ton of candy!

Later that day, we went over to my parents' house for a traditional barbecue.  Then, we headed out to the Vienna fireworks!  We got there early and found a perfect spot to watch the fireworks.

We were happy to see that the snack bar was selling snow cones!  It was incredibly hot, so of course we all had to get one.

It was Taylor's first time eating a snow cone.  I thought that she would only have a few bites of mine, but apparently she really likes snow cones!

She ended up eating most of mine!

Taylor had fun crawling around the blankets back and forth between all of us.  She especially loved climbing on Grandma and Papa.

Brayden was happily doing his new Cars activity book and asking often when the fireworks were going to start.

When it got dark, we all settled in to watch the fireworks.  Taylor had seen fireworks from a distance when she was at Disney, but this was her first close up firework show.  She loved the show!

She sat on Jon's lap mesmerized by the show.

Brayden loved the show!  He sat on my lap pointing out all the different fireworks.  He talked about all the different colors and shapes and which fireworks he liked best.
