My mom and I took the kids to a small wetlands in Leesburg.  It turned out to not be much of a wetlands, but we still had a great time walking around the woods! Brayden was our fearless leader for our adventure.  He scouted ahead and would report back on the path.  He took his job very seriously and would make sure to tell us if there were thorn bushes ahead.   He wanted us to be prepared to push the branches far away from Taylor's stroller.


The park had about 15 numbered signs spread out around the park.  Brayden loved running ahead to find the next number.

We found the small wetlands area at the bottom of the path.  Brayden liked sitting on the little bridge and Taylor enjoyed checking out the water.





Brayden was thrilled to discover a giant X made out of rocks.  One of his favorite things right now is pirates.  He was convinced that the X marked the location of a treasure chest.  He tried to dig it up, but the rocks were too heavy.
