Before we started apple picking, we had a yummy picnic lunch.
Taylor was great at apple picking. She had so much fun wandering around the apple orchard. She figured out really quickly that she was supposed to pull the apples off the tree. She would pull the apples with all her might. All this pulling would result in her pulling the apple off, but often cause her to fall over holding the apple. She would get all excited about her new treasure and bring it over to the apple bag.
Brayden had been waiting all summer for apple picking. As we went blueberry, strawberry, and raspberry picking he would always ask how much longer until apple picking. He was thrilled when apple picking day arrived!
Brayden made sure to check for the best apples.
We love the apple orchard that we go to, because almost all the apples are low to the ground. It was so adorable seeing the kids walk under the trees and be surrounded by apples.
Brayden took some time out from picking to recreate one of his favorite apple books Ten Apples On Top.
Brayden was a super big brother and loved showing Taylor how to pull the apple off the trees.
He also taught her how to put an apple on top of her head. Taylor thought it was hysterical to have an apple on her head.
Everybody had a great time picking apples. We filled two big bags full of apples. Brayden didn't want to stop until the last bag was overflowing. We had beautiful weather and a great time enjoying the fall weather.

After we picked a bunch of apples, we walked over to the pumpkin patch. It was our first time picking pumpkins off the vine! Brayden was thrilled to get to start his pumpkin collection!
