By the end of our trip Taylor started to get braver around the water. She would walk in up to her knees and splash around. If she saw a wave coming, she would run back up to the sand.
Brayden had a great time in the water. He went out to about his waist and would jump over the little waves. Both of the kids had favorite beach toys that they played with a majority of the trip. Of course, most of the favorite toys were loved by both kids, so we did a bunch of work on sharing. Brayden has a cooking sand kit with spoons, a whisk, measuring cups, and a big bowl. He had fun whipping up fish stew and other concoctions. Taylor just loved to run around holding the big spoon and the whisk.
Taylor also loved her little watering can. She would get really excited every time we filled it up. She would immediately dump all the water out and want us to fill it up again. The other popular beach toys this trip were these four little squirt balls shaped like animals. Both kids loved them and we played many different games with them.
We made sure to fit some time in to fly Brayden's turtle kite!
Our last night at the beach, was the only time we needed our sweatshirts.

It was a super last trip down to the beach. The kids got along great. We loved watching them goof off together. Taylor had the biggest belly laughs when she watched Brayden do silly things. We are so lucky to have two amazing kids!
