Pumpkin Picking

Jon and I took the kids to Cox Farm to pick pumpkins.  They have the best pumpkin patch out front with tons of pumpkins for the kids to climb over.  Taylor grabbed a little tiny pumpkin as soon as we walked in.  We didn't even see her pick it up.  One second she didn't have a pumpkin and the next second she was walking around carrying one.  She didn't put her little pumpkin down for most of the trip.

Taylor loved watching Brayden trying to pick his pumpkin.  She thought it was very funny when he ran all over the place trying to pick up all the pumpkins.


Brayden was a very picky pumpkin picker.  He made sure to look the pumpkins all over and made sure they had strong stems.



He wanted to check every part of the pumpkin patch for the perfect pumpkin.  A few times he thought he found the right one, but then he would switch it for a different pumpkin.  He also made sure to give his opinions on my pumpkin and Jon's pumpkin to make sure we picked the right one.




After watching Brayden trying to pick up the pumpkins, Taylor put her little pumpkin down for a bit to find a bigger one!  She is very strong for her age and could lift some good size pumpkins.



Brayden was very excited to find everybody the perfect pumpkins.  He wanted to go home and carve them right away!  Brayden picked out a white pumpkin for himself this year!
