Washington Christmas Trees

We drove over to see the White House Christmas trees and got rock star parking right in front of the Willard hotel.  The Willard hotel was decorated beautifully and I told Jon we might need to go there next year for dinner just to see the decorations again.  Our warm weather went away as it got dark.

Brayden was still all smiles and very excited to see the trees and more trains.  Taylor, however, was not enjoying the cold and the crowds.  It is hard to look too sad though when you are wearing a pink fuzzy bunny hat.

The Florida tree was one of our favorite little trees this year, because it had huge oranges for ornaments.

There were more people at the trees this year than any previous year. It wasn't too bad around the little trees, but it was packed in by the big tree.  We managed to squeeze our way into a spot at the rail, so Brayden could see the trains.  Brayden was so excited to throw some pennies, that Grandma thankfully brought, into the open train cars as they zoomed past!

He really loved the train displays and we had to squeeze into several different spots around the rail to see all the different displays.
